J Cole Rediscovers The Come Up

Grammy Award Winning Artist, J Cole, took to The Player Tribune entitled Audacity where he spoke on losing his passion for the music as he considered retirement.

Revealing had to go back to where it all started with in a tiny apartment in Jamacia, Queens in New York City along with having two sons he was able to reconnect with the love of lyrics.

By Cole speaking on his passions and desires, it was evident of the head space he was in during pivotal moments in his career from The Come Up (J Cole first mixtape released in 2009) to 4 Your Eyes Only.

We can all understand what J Cole was dealing with, lacking the hunger and egarness that was once felt trying to accomplish goals, but once the goals have been acheived the drive decreases.

I can speak for many Cole fans, when I say I glad he lite the fuel to his passion again because the next music and album he drop will take us back to The Warm Up days, however Cole come, it will not be long as he will be releasing new music sooner than we think.
