Star Studded LaKeyah Released To The Public To Mind Yo Business

Quality Control has added another force of nature to their star-studded roster, which is Milwaukee native, Lakeyah. Quality Control CEO, Pierre Thomas has been working with the young talent for years. “She has all the makings of a star” stated Pierre. “I have no doubt she’s going to rise quickly in this culture and make a big mark for herself.”

Laykeyah is certainly living up to Thomas’s expectations as she inked a deal with the iconic and legendary Motown Records, releasing singles such as, I Look Good, which grossed a total of one million streams. Being widespread and critically acclaimed, I Look Good, gave Laykeyah traction throughout different media outlets including, The Source, Uproxx, and Revolt, referring to the track as a “Confidence-filled anthem that serves to show off her style and spirit just before her summertime takeover.”

The Female Goat artist has her foot on the gas with no plans of letting up. After the release of I Look Good following right behind is her latest single Mind Yo Business featuring Latto. Releasing the single with The Sunshine artist, Lakeyah has been thrilled about the opportunity since Latto appeared on The Rap Game. Lakeyah spoke out on the collaboration stating “I got the chance to collaborate with one of my favorite new era rap girl! Both the song and the video are fire. I can’t wait for everyone to hear mind yo business.”

Mind Yo Business is currently streaming on all music platforms, but this is just the beginning. Laykeyah took to social media allowing the masses to know she is applying pressure as she will release her EP entitled No Pressure Part 1 on June 17th. Lakeyah has big plans to become a staple in this industry as a female artist who displays authenticity allowing others to understand the importance to follow suit.
