The Diamand Princess, Trina, issued an apology after recent controvials comment about protestors stating:
“I just want to say I apologize sincerely to everybody I offended by what I said. I spoke passionately about how I felt about people destroying our community here in Miami,”
During The Trick N Trina Morning Show airing in Miami's on 99 Jamz, Trick and Trina spoke on the recent uprising of the riots and looting that took place in Miami, FL Thursday (June 4th).
In the mist of the conversation Trina become controverisally vocial after announcing Miami's curfew, which wasn't percieved in a positive light.
Trina Stated “They need to make the curfew at 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Keep everybody off the street, these animals off the streets, that are running around Miami-Dade County acting like they have escaped from a zoo. Lock them up at 5 p.m. so the streets can be nice and clean.”
After the comments, Trina caught backlash immediately as fans were claiming Trina was canceled all over soical media. The uproareven resulted Trina to exchange words with reality-tv star Masika Kalysha via twitter.
I my opinion as radio personalities, it's okay to be opinionate, it's okay to to be vocal thr number one rule to not make your topics about you, As public figures it's a responisibility to speak up, you just have to be mindful what what's being said.
